Gregg & Teresa Lamm in his Stem Cell Transplant

October 16, 2013 Gregg Lamm had a very serious stroke. Since that time he has gone through many days, weeks and months of physical struggles which would for most, would cause us to simply give up. Gregg however, having a pastor’s heart, as much as he has been able, has persevered through everything, doing what he loves which is loving on other people. Gregg has a long history of doing just that. Pastor of Klamath Falls Friends Church, Campus pastor at George Fox University and pastor at 2nd Street Church in Newberg. He is no longer able to lead a church as pastor, but he is still a pastor!

One of his struggles during these past 10 years has been battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The first time it was controlled with several rounds of chemo. When it came back a second time it has been determined by his medical team the best treatment for a possible cure will be a stem cell transplant. He is now undergoing treatments to knock the cancer down to the point where his own stem cells can be harvested and will be reinfused at a later date. He will be in Portland Providence hospital for around three weeks during this process.

Not being able to work for the past ten years has presented many monetary issues and this current event does not help. Gregg does have insurance but it is not clear how much will be covered for this very expensive procedure. There will be and currently are out of pocket expenses that need attention. So, we are appealing to you, Gregg and Teresa’s many, many friends to find it in your hearts to help in whatever way you can. Every donation will be appreciated beyond words.
