Greg's Fight Against Cancer

My name is Jenny and I am posting this campaign on behalf of my amazing brother-in-law Greg and his beautiful family. First off, I want to thank everyone for your support, prayers, and love you have shown them throughout this. Greg is 44 years old and served in the military for our wonderful country. He has a loving wife and two beautiful children; a five year old daughter and a two year old son. He is an awesome Uncle to his four neices and one nephew and a loving son to his mother and father. He has two wonderful siblings.
Greg was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer on September 7, 2016. He endured chemo and radiation here in Illinois and went for surgery on March 2, 2017 at John Hopkins in Baltimore. The doctors removed 50% of his pancreas and his spleen. After surgery, he continued chemo back in Illinois. He had CT scans every 3 months at John Hopkins. He was given the great news of being in remission almost 1 year after the date of being diagnosed. Unfortunately in early December he started having a lot of pain and was losing weight. He went back to John Hopkins in January 2018 and received the horrible news that the cancer was back and had metastasized to his liver and is terminal. Surgery is not an option. He has one wish he would like to be able to do: bring his family to Disney World. He has promised his daughter this and would love to make this a reality for her and his family.
This campaign is to help them fulfill this wish, to help cover medical costs that will be sustained from here on out for pain management control, and to create everlasting memories the kids can look back on and smile knowing their Daddy loved them with all his heart. Genetic testing will be done on Greg and his kids. The doctors at John Hopkins have never seen a cancer spread so quickly like his is doing. I again want to thank you all for your prayers and love.
