Souls in Harmony is a Virginia based 501c3 organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of those individuals who are encumbered by a special need or barrier. The typical clients we serve suffer from various cognitive issues such as but not limited to Alzheimers, Dementia, Depression, Bipolar, Anxiety, and PTSD. Recently, we are beginning to establish programs serving the needs of those suffering from care giver stress. Music memories are never affected even in the final stages of Alzheimers and Dementia. By accessing these memories, we have been able to breakdown some of the communication barriers previously displayed by these clients. Over the last five years, we have seen three “awakenings” from clients who were not previously communicating effectively.
We are asking for your help to help fund our new office located in Culpeper, VA. This new office allows us to offer these services to the home care community as well as the general public. Most of us can identify with the needs of these clients and have seen these needs on a personal level. Please help us to be able to continue to offer these free services to Culpeper and the surrounding counties. When words fail, music speaks.
**All of the monies raised through this campaign are put toward our rent each month in our three year lease in order to remain open and providing services. Your support is our lifes blood and we are forever grateful.
