Please help our dear friend Greg as he battles a brain tumor diagnosis.
Sometimes your day starts like any other day, and sometimes it’s a day that changes your life.
Greg was discussing plans to see the movie Black Panther, when strange symptoms sent him to the emergency room. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor that required emergency surgery. On Monday, February 19, he underwent a five-hour operation to have it removed. Unfortunately, there have been many complications, including a blood infection and a stroke sustained during the surgery which has caused partial vision loss and paralysis on his left side.
Through it all, he has managed to keep his signature sense of humor that all of his friends and family know and love so well. After the surgery, while slowly coming out of anesthesia, breathing tube still inserted, he wrote to his wife, Rose, asking her to give him a math test.
The road ahead will be a difficult one for Greg and his family as there are still many unknowns. He will need ongoing care including physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
Greg is determined to get better, and we are determined to help him.
Most people are well aware of the burden that medical procedures of this nature can be, and how difficult it is to ask for financial help.
