As expected, with a situation like this, there are going to be a lot of ups and downs. The good news is that Greg is showing signs of improvement, and surgery to repair some of his injuries is on the radar. The bad news is that he is currently struggling with increased complications from COVID and his injuries are complicating treatment.

Tilly's injuries are healing well. She is scheduled for surgery later this week to set the bones of her left arm in the best possible position for 100% recovery.

William and Tilly are coming to terms with the longevity of their father’s situation, but I am only giving them the bigger picture rather than the details in an effort to spare them the ride on the hourly rollercoaster. If you are in contact with them, please keep this in mind.

THANK YOU for all the incredible support you have shown through your messages and GoFundMe donations. Please continue to hold them all in your prayers. ❤️

On Wednesday, November 25, Greg Hamer was in a life-changing car accident. His recovery and rehabilitation are going to be long. If you would like to support him by contributing to his medical expenses, I know he would be incredibly grateful.

.................

To provide some additional backstory for those of you who may not know me, Greg and I were married for 12 years and have two amazing children together, William and Tilly. We met when Greg traveled from Australia to teach in North Carolina. When his contract was finished, we moved to his hometown of Perth, Western Australia for five years where he continued to work as a science teacher. After our son, William, was born we moved back to North Carolina to be closer to my extended family. As you can tell from the incredible support Greg has received through this GoFundMe campaign, he has touched the lives of hundreds all across the globe. While we are no longer married, Greg and I remain friends and rockstar co-parents. I set up this GoFundMe campaign at the suggestion of several of his friends as a way to help alleviate Greg and Tilly's medical expenses during what will be his very long recovery journey. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who has donated.
