Greg Dowell’s battle to beat brain cancer!

July 2018 changed Greg’s life as he suffered from a seizure and shortly after, discovered he has a brain tumor.
He found a wonderful set of doctors at Rush hospital in Chicago and went in for brain surgery in September to remove what the surgeons could remove of the tumor without harming Greg.
Greg has since been through six weeks of radiation and has started chemo treatments which he will have to have for a year. He has been in the hospital multiple times and has to have blood work done weekly.
The Chemo treatments take a toll on Greg’s body. He gets very fatigued and the treatments make him sick.
Greg is on an unpaid leave of absence from his job as Youth and Family Ministries Coordinator until May 2020. His employer truly cares about his wellbeing and can’t wait for him to return to his job.
Although they have been fortunate enough to have good health insurance through Jodi’s employer, there are still medical bills and other expenses that need to be paid for.
We would would like to raise $25,000 to help Greg and Jodi with their household and medical expenses for the year.
Greg has always been the one that is willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need and now he needs our help. Let’s step up and do what we can for Greg and his family.
