Greg & Andrea Traymar

Dear Family and friends,
As you may know, my brother Greg's wife Andrea was recently diagnosed with a rare brain tumor near the pineal gland in the central area of the brain. In the last couple of months she had two surgeries. The first surgery was to relieve the buildup of pressure caused by the tumor blocking the flow of Cerebral Spinal Fluid and the second surgery was to remove the tumor itself. Both surgeries were very successful. The tumor has been found to be rare and a mix of being benign and malignant (cancerous). Some people have said, "how can it be both?" Again, because this tumor is so rare (only a few hundred cases a year) it behaves in a unique way. The good thing is that the final pathology found the tumor to be behaving on the more in a benign way. She will have radiation in the upcoming weeks and will need to get an MRI every 3 months for possibly the rest of her life to make sure the tumor does not come back or spread to a different part of the body.

Although Greg and Andrea have insurance, they have a high deductible and still are getting hospital bills for things their insurance isn't covering. Also, Greg hasn't been working throughout this time and won't be working for the rest of the year to take care of Andrea.  If you feel inspired to donate to their healing, I know they would be so appreciative. I'm trying to raise $15,000 to cover them for the year and a little beyond.

Thank you for everything, especially your love and your prayers.

love,
Michelle.
