Greenhouse Harvest Fundraiser

Tax deductible

Krishna's Food Forest & Garden is a one acre Permaculture-influenced farm just 33 blocks from downtown Salt Lake City. We were recently awarded a federal grant that will cover 50% of the cost to install a 30' x 60' Greenhouse/High Tunnel but we need your help to raise another $5,000 to complete the project!
Two years ago, the Salt Lake Permaculture Guild, Ecstatic Dance SLC, and the SLC Air Protectors all had found their way to making the Salt Lake Krishna Temple a center for gatherings and building community together. Members of that community like Michael and Maomi Cundick teamed up with the original Land Steward Randy Gordon and Krishna Temple staff to help glorify the garden space and ever since it has been growing and growing! In 2017 we added a pond and food forest and in 2018 we added a mandala herb garden and tripled the yields from our beyond-organic fruit and vegetable production! David Turner our Produce manager has been harvesting twice a week all growing season which keeps the temple kitchen stocked and ensures our extended communities all have access to fresh nutrient dense food! Watch our video to learn all about the project!!!
