Greene Center Fundraiser

The Greene Center is a great community center in lower Westmount. It serves people of all ages. Our kids enjoy and benefit from the services it offers. And I have really begun to appreciate the value of building a sense of community, and supporting institutions that do the same. So I'm going to use this Halloween season as a catalyst to try and raise some money for the Greene Center. The idea came after delivery of our 1,200 pumpkin… Seeing people gather on the corner to take pictures, talk, meet other people who live in their community… I figured why not try and exploit the novelty of a massive, behemoth, freak-of-nature of a pumpkin for some social good! Lol. If you’re game, let’s see how much we can raise. I’m going to figure out some other novel ways to raise money – maybe by auctioning off the flesh or seeds, or accepting the best offer on how to destroy the pumpkin. We’ll see! :)
