Crisis at Greenbriar Apartments

I'm Christina. I'm raising emergency funds for the tenants at Greenbriar Apartments In Hot Springs, Arkansas. The tenants are receiving baseless evictions on a daily basis. It's the least I could do since leaving my position as apartment manager because I refused to exploit hard-working people who just wanted a decent place to live.
Since Greenbriar came under new management, the tenants have been in unsafe and unsanitary living conditions. They have been bombarded with retaliatory evictions, neglected repairs, and landlord harassment. Tenants complain of untreated pest and rodent infestations. Some apartments even have black mold, and one tenant was hospitalized as a result.
In the spring, the landlord ripped out A/C units and charged the tenants with restoring them. Then the landlord prohibited tenants from sitting outside their apartments to seek relief from temperatures that reached the high-90s, and he threatened to call the police on those tenants for loitering. For the tenants who paid to have their A/C units restored, they are now being charged up to $1,000 to keep the units until the end of the year.
When tenants report these indecent living conditions to authorities, they receive eviction notices. Tenants are receiving eviction notices on a daily basis with about 50 tenants in total expected to face evictions in the next few months.
Arkansas is the only state in the nation that does not have an implied warranty of habitability for tenants in a residential or commercial property. Landlords can literally get away with treating--or mistreating--tenants any way they please. This landlord is clearly using the lack of legislation to abuse his power.
The Greenbriar tenants are low-income and could use any financial contributions for an eviction fund as they relocate to more humane living conditions.
Across the country, millions of Americans are one eviction away from homelessness. With your generosity, we can help keep these displaced tenants off the street.
