As many of our friends and family can attest it hasn’t been an easy road for Ricky and I over the past 5 years. First we battled Ricky’s cancer and the medical bills that came along with that. With the help of our family, friends and amazing Doctors we were able to get ahead of it and now Ricky is doing great.
2 months ago we finally made our dreams come true when we bought our first home. It took all our money to do that but we were so proud to have made against all obstacles thrown our way. 2 days ago we came home to a nightmare with feet of water in our new home. We lost almost everything. Furniture, clothes, laptops, shoes and so many of Ricky’s collectibles. Yes these are just “things” that can be replaced some day but it’s our life that floated away is those terrible flood waters leaving us essentially homeless and once again devastated. There is so much work to be done and we need a little help. I’m hoping to raise enough money to get a storage container to save what we can from the house and replace the things we need right now. Anyone that knows Ricky knows that he of all people could have done without one more tragedy. He’s the man that would give the shirt off his back but just keeps getting knocked down. We’re trying our best to stay positive and pray the insurance will help us rebuild. Any help at all would do wonders for us right now and would be greatly appreciated. Let’s help Ricky because this time I can’t do it alone.
