Green Family of 8: Fire Fund

On the morning of December 20th, Zane [Ryan] and Julia Green’s family suffered a fire in their townhouse caused by a faulty dishwasher.  Julia was attending a school Christmas concert when she was alerted by a neighbor that their house was on fire.  They are thankful that no one was home and everyone is safe. Zane [Ryan] and Julia are parents to 6 children;  The children's ages range from just 11 to 1.5 years old.

Unfortunately the fire and extreme smoke damage has left the Green Family displaced from their home, with just the clothes they were wearing yesterday.

They have gotten assistance for a nearby hotel for few nights.  In the mean time they have been told to find longer term  accommodations for 6-12 months while their townhouse is restored.

Today the sadness and overwhelming stress is hitting the family hard as they face the reality of their losses.  They are starting over with their possessions of a lifetime.  As the family works to navigate the process of insurance and recovering from this fire, they need our help to fill the gaps.

Many people have expressed wanting to send the children Christmas gifts.  Currently the family is looked after and will decline accepting physical items as they have no place to keep them and don’t really know what is needed at this time.
