Hi everyone! Thanks so much for visiting my page. My name is Taylor and I'm currently in the process of starting my very first VEGAN food cart here in Portland, Oregon!
We are holding this campaign open until October 31st! So be sure to get donations in before then!
My Story:
After being laid off from a job that I thought would be my forever career, I began doing some soul searching and asking myself some pretty serious questions; Did I want to be working at a desk for the rest of my life? How was I giving back? How could I spread my knowledge of veganism to others? I had always talked about having my own smoothie cart, and I vividly remember sitting in my car one day, unemployed, looking at my phone for new jobs, again....and it hit me. If not now, when? I started my business plan that day and never looked back. So that brings us to now, with a lot of ups and downs, managing a local food cart to gain knowledge and experience, and making my dream a reality with the help of my family and friends.

Smoothies With a Purpose:
Green City Smoothies will focus on providing superfood packed smoothies and snacks, but one of my greatest goals in this process is to educate others on the benefits eating a vegan, plant based diet has on our body's, planet, and animal welfare.
Our Goal:
The funding though this page will help keep Green City Smoothies sustained through the winter, allow us to complete the final steps in the remodel of our food cart (HUGE shout out to my husband, Kyle!) and pay for the city permit fees.
I have a very optimistic goal of opening by November 1st, so any donation is extremely appreciated! Thank you so much for believing and being a part of this vision with me! I wouldn't be here without each and every one of you!
