Great Family Gathering 2019

On Monday November 25, 2019 from 4-7 pm, The Community of Compassion CDC, a non profit organization helping those in the community, will celebrate our seventeenth annual Great Family Gathering. This is a Thanksgiving feeding event for the less fortunate at this time of the year. There is no cost to our guests.

This event will take place at the lovely First District Plaza Ballroom located at 3801 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA. The Great Family Gathering will be an event for the whole family.  In past years, on that day we served over 5000 guests, 600+ of whom are children and the numbers are increasing. Philadelphia has the highest poverty rate among children of any large city in the United States. By committing to be a sponsor for this event, you are helping us to fulfill our mission of feeding families and especially children, who may not otherwise receive a Thanksgiving meal this season.
