Great Commission Family Church

As you all know, Hurricane Harvey has completely devastated many parts of the beautiful state of Texas. Unfortunately, this devastation has hit very close to home affecting our church. We are extremely saddened to say the loss has been very substantial. There was at least 2 feet of water inside the building which completely destroyed all of our sanctuary, pews, furniture, nursery, classrooms, offices, baptistry, fellowship hall, etc. To prevent mold and other sanitary issues, we will have to remove all sheet rock 4 feet from the floor up.

The Great Commission family is extremely heartbroken with the damage of our home away from home. We are hoping to get our church back up and running as quickly as possible. We reach out to you today and ask for donations to help restore, repair, rebuild and recover so that we can get back to our important mission of “Knowing God and Making HIM Known.” Any donation amount is beyond appreciated and we truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We will continue to pray for all of those affected by this horrific event and we have all faith that through this storm the “SON” will continue to shine!
