I am completely heartbroken at the thought of having to leave my boys behind! Please let me introduce myself and tell my story. My name is Angelica, I'm a 25 year old mother of two young boys. It all started a month ago. I was having bad pains and my skin was turning really yellow so I went to the hospital. I was admitted almost immediately. Within 2 days my skin became more yellow than the sun. My left arm and legs even stopped working at one point. I found out that I had an extreme case of sepsis (blood infection) and I was in organ failure. My kidneys and liver are only functioning at 2%. If that wasn't bad enough I also found out I'm in stage 2 of ovarian cancer and it's spread. My body can't fight any of this and I can't even have the surgeries I need because my blood is so bad! So far the antibiotics aren't working on the sepsis but I'm NOT done fighting!!! I'll continue fighting with everything I am to stay here for my kids! My amazing parents have been paying for my medical care for the last month and have nothing left now. We are struggling for even the basics like food and gas. I've always worked so hard to support me and my babies so asking for help is difficult. I'm praying for your help through this terrible time though, even a single dollar is huge and if you can't donate you can help just as much by sharing my story!
