The Gray Mountain Youth Experience

Dear Friend,

We believe that exceptional leaders and their high-functioning teams create hope and inspire action. We also believe that the journey to leadership excellence begins in adolescence. That’s why we created Gray Mountain, a six day leadership intensive for high school aged youth.

This one of a kind experience provides next generation leaders with access to the same expert coaching and development we provide to world class business professionals. Participants will receive the benefit of one-on-one mentoring and group training from our dedicated staff on the hallowed grounds of the United States Military Academy at West Point.

In keeping with our Core Value of generosity, Diligent Plans is committed to offering the Gray Mountain experience to all qualified applicants, regardless of income level.

According to a 2018 study done by the National Center for Children in Poverty (NCCP), there are 14.9 million children between 12-17 years old currently living in poverty in the United States. Researchers with the U.S. Partnership on Mobility from Poverty found that only 16% of children who grow up in poverty are likely to become successful as young adults.

With your help, Diligent Plans will offer students currently living in poverty the opportunity to have a truly world class leadership experience by way of partial to full scholarships to attend Gray Mountain. Our hope is that participation in the experience will allow students to see their potential and catch a vision for their future.
