2020 has certainly been a struggle for us all but that certainly has not stopped the GS community from doing what we love. We ended 2019 with the most successful race to date and had every intention of hosting several events on Old Harmony Farm. Unfortunately we were limited to the events that we were able to hold. But 2021 is just around the corner and we need your help!
Old Harmony Farm is evolving into a unique event space that will include camping/glamping and various non-bike related events. Luckily, Gravity Soul is continuing to partner with Zach Bidle, the owner of Old Harmony Farm, to build a location where bicycle enthusiasts can progress, socialize, and relax. Zach has recently purchased a large shipping container which will serve as a future headquarters for all Gravity Soul operations. We have a plan to build out this shipping container into the ultimate multi-use facility:
-Gravity Soul hub for all bike related events!
-Announcers booth/ podium on race days
-Sign in for open rides and clinics
-Gravity Soul merchandise storage
-And many other uses!
As we head into the 2021 season we are excited to host the 10th annual Dual Slalom Race and Fall Festival. While the races are successful and exciting, there are many incurred expenses that go into maintaining the mountain bike trails and features located on Old Harmony Farm. Many visiting patrons have asked “how much does it cost to ride at the farm?” They are surprised to hear “free” as the response. Well here is a chance to give back!
With your help, support and donations, we hope to have the Gravity Soul Hub built by Spring 2021! We can’t wait to host you on the Old Harmony Farm! Live to ride, ride to live!
