Grant's Senior Thesis

Family, friends, countrymen, if you've found your way here then hopefully you know me. If you don't, I'm a student at The University of the Arts and I'm making my senior thesis documentary. The documentary focuses on a group called Philly Fighting Covid, a nonprofit that is doing it’s best to fight our worldwide pandemic. I have a lot of strengths as a filmmaker, but editing is not one of them. The reason I’m raising money is to bring a proper editor onto the project. I expect the editing process to take almost a full semester, and that amount of work is more than I can impose on my friends or pay with favors. Of the money I raise, the majority ($1500) is going to go to the editor.

If I exceed my goal, I’ll use the money to make some upgrades to my equipment and to buy storage drives, sd cards, etc. If you can donate, I would deeply appreciate it. If you haven’t known what to get me for Christmas since I was going through my orange phase in 7th grade, this would be incredibly meaningful to me. If you can’t, I totally understand. If you still want to support the project though, please send this around to your rich friends. Regardless, I hope you all stay safe in the pandemic and have a wonderful holiday season.
