Grant Trower

Donation protected
Grant Trower received a high voltage electrical shock from a downed power line on July 29, 2022 causing significant burns to his body. He is currently in the Burn Unit at Vancouver General Hospital and will have a long road to recovery.

After several surgeries, it was determined that Grant will lose both of his lower limbs below the knees and will need a prosthesis to walk again.
As Leslie will be by Grant's side, recovery and rehabilitation will be tough as there will be additional costs for accommodation, food, and travel back and forth to Vancouver. Grant will also require wheelchair accessible upgrades to his home so he can return to the Kootenays following an extensive rehabilitation program.

We are reaching out to the community to help support Grant and Leslie during this difficult time and help lessen the financial burden.
Grant and Leslie would like to thank all their family, friends and cherished neighbours who have supported them during this most challenging time in their lives.

It is your love and support that gives them the strength that they need to overcome this life changing event.
