Grant Goldman has dedicated his life to his community and his family. If it's entertaining his listeners on his Radio show or raising money for many of the charities he has worked for over the years, this is a man who has put everyone else before himself. The last ten years have been tough. Grants daughter Alexandria now 7 years old was born extremely premature with many costly problems. Now after battling 5 cancers for over 5 years in the liver, bowel, chest and lung, many surgeries and extended chemotherapy and radiation the costs have pushed him and his family a long way into the red. Now with a tumorous growth on the lungs and two in his chest cavity his cancer is described by the doctor as terminal.
This money will help pay for consultations, specialists and costs associated with taking on new drugs and therapies. One of the therapies we are looking at has completed clinical trials on certain types of cancers with outstanding results. From on line reports we have come across It has had success with people who have bowel cancer secondaries of the lung which is what Grant has at this stage and it is diagnosed as inoperable. Some doctors say forget it and other studies say there's hope. One of the global studies we are looking at for GG is running in 16 countries and found the drug prevented this kind of cancer from spreading in almost half the patients at 12 months, making it three times more effective than chemotherapy which the doctors say he can no longer have.
