Granny’s Touch Senior Consignment Program

We opened an antique, collectible and vintage home treasures store so the treasures that appear in our memories might appear in others. We opened the store on Main St inthe small town of Carl Junction Mo, knowing that the next step would be to stock our shelves with consignment items. What we didn’t know is how many elderly customers need assistance getting their home treasures to someone that will appreciate them. These items are not just stuff to them, some they got from family members before them but all with a story.
They can also use the money to help them live while on retirement. That’s where you come in. We would like to offer a special consignment opportunity to seniors. Seniors would receive 85% (vs 55%) of the sale price back, have no account setup fees and receivethe following services free:
• Onsite item evaluation,
• Eliminate visible defects or stains,
• Pick-up and delivery.
Our Granny is no longer with us but she always wanted to open a store and call it Granny’s Touch . When we decided to open this shop we knew immediately the name would be Granny’s Touch. Today we use her logo, unveiled our windows on her birthday, and watch smiles and tears as our customers walk down memory lane. We feel compelled to spread this contagious feeling and hope that you will feel the same.
Going forward 5% of our gross sales will be allocated to the costs of this special service. This donation and yours will cover travel costs and labor for onsite evaluations and eliminating defects, advertisement and posting fees, supplies, etc. These costs are normally covered by the amount we retain from the sale price. We hope that with your help we will be able to start this at the beginning of the new year. you are so inclined and able, please consider a donation, however big or small.
