Granny's Home Repairs

Hello, all!  For those of you who know me well, you know I am back to living with my grandmother (aka Granny) because of the COVID-19 pandemic. She is a recent breast cancer survivor and due to her high-risk status, it was best for her that I cancel my plans to stay and help protect her.


Granny has had a lot of very expensive home repairs in the last couple of years due the age of her home and it seems like it will never end. She gets one repair completed and another pops up. Late last week, we woke up to sewage spilling out into our basement (again) and while that is already horrific enough, our plumber informed us that the sewer pipe has collapsed, needs to be replaced and will cost approximately $4,500. Again, because of the pandemic and her vulnerability, I have not been able to work since March and her fixed income is stretched to the limit.


Creating this GoFundMe is a very humbling experience but because she desperately needs help and these repairs have to happen, I decided to try this because I have no other options. I know that so many people out there are hurting, suffering, and may not have the funds to donate. Please know that we appreciate anything that you can give to us and are forever grateful for it.
