Grangran (Myra) and Granny (Gwen) passed away within 5 days of each other. Leaving a Daughter and Grandchildren behind. Myra, 89 and Gwen,62 both born in Glasgow Scotland lived full life’s . Myra worked for Rolls Royce, ran her own Hotel, campaigned for Thalidomide survivors and spent her later years with Family in Spain. Gwen born with severe physical deformities underwent 56 major operations but never let her stop breeding Arab Horses and travelling the world.

Their Grandchildren discovered memorial benches in honour of those who had passed while travelling to their favourite spots. It’s now become a mission of ours to have our very own bench placed to commemorate their life. Mother and Daughter passing so closely together is heartbreaking and the Family would love to have this bench as a memory for many years to come. Not just for our Family but their friends also.

Every penny made will be to pay for the memorial bench and a small donation to the area in which it’s settled (this has to be confirmed by the council first but as soon as it has anyone who’s given a donation will be told where they can visit )
