Stan is one of the greatest men we have ever known and love dearly.  All who know him love him.  Stan is just that guy!  That guy with the biggest heart of gold who is always there for anyone and everyone.  He is a true energy giver.   Stan is the greatest example of unconditional love and kindness.  He always has a smile and kind words for you whether he knows you or not.    He has never met a stranger.  It is always inspiring to witness the profound affect Stan has on the lives of others both on and off the baseball field.  "Stan is my biggest hero" said, Jarred Adams  "All that he taught me through the years of coaching has molded me into the adult I am today."  We all have stories of how "Stan The Man" has blessed our life.

Now, the  time has come for all of us to step up to the plate and give back to Stan.  He has been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and he is beginning  treatment right away.  Even though there isn't a cure for this kind of cancer yet, it is very much controllable with treatment.

He would NEVER ask for this but, is something he would definitely do for his friends and family.  We feel it will help him fight through this and possibly ease some of the financial burden of medical expenses during this time.

Stan is a fighter and has the most amazing energy and positive outlook on life.   We have always admired his example of unwavering faith.  We know he's going to kick this and this is how we can help him win this fight!
