Urgent Help For Grandparents

Hi everyone, myself along with my brother want to help out our grandparents with the situation that is happening in Mexico city.

 Early in the morning my parents received a distress phone call from my aunt.  My grandparents have been affected by the flood that happened in Mexico.

This isn't the first time it has happened, just as recent as June 29th they were affected. This latest flood is one of the worst to hit the City and we expect that it will continue to get worse. I am fully aware of what is happening in Houston and my heart goes out to all the individuals being affected.  I don't know why the flooding in Mexico hasn't made it onto the news, but I can tell you that my grandparents are in need of urgent help as well.

Sadly Mexico does not provide insurance or health care or even a pension plan for seniors. My grandparents do not have much and they are good people.  My heart is filled with sorrow seeing my parent’s desperate to help their parents.  Being so far away makes it even more painful because there is little we can do alone. 

From the photos you can see how dirty the water is and from the last phone call it has already made it into the house. They have been able to get on the second floor, but everything on the first floor has been completely ruined by contaminated water. 

I am asking for anyone that can, please help my family with any monetary donation. This means the world to me and my grandparents will be truly grateful.

Due to the flooding in 2011 my grandparents lost everything and we fought to keep them in their home. If we reach the $3000 mark that would be amazing and go a long way in helping to restore my grandparents home !!!

I ask for you all to try and help my family out. If you can’t make a donation even sharing their story will go a long way and be appreciated.
