Grandparents House Burned to Ground

Donation protected
My parents, Terry and Gina Smith, had their home burn down in Acworth, GA early on Monday morning. They did not have renters insurance and the home owner did not have home insurance either. The fire started in the back of their home and was already at the front by the time the fire department got there. The neighbors said it took the fire department 45 minutes to get there, and than they couldn't find the fire hydrant. (Later  Monday afternoon the county came out and painted the fire hydrant, but by it was too late for my parents.) The truly sad part is my parents were already living paycheck to paycheck. My mom was buying throughout the year for Christmas presents, so they could afford to do it. (That is one of the first things my mom cried about. She said, "All the Christmas presents for all my grandchildren burned.") She shops yard sales and thrift stores for everything. That just shows you how amazing she is, because her first worry wasn't for her lost items, but the items she had purchased to bring joy to others! My parents have raised 5 kids and have 10 grandchildren.
One of their grown sons was staying with them at the moment, Terry Junior. He was helping them when he wasn't working. TJ, got my parents out and than went back in for their animals. For his heroics he received 2nd degree burns, but saved the animals and my parents lives.
They aren't young enough to go out and get 2 or 3 jobs just so they can rebuild their lives. Please, please, please find it in your heart to help these amazing people to get back up on their feet. They lost everything! I mean everything but their lives.  They have worked so hard and now this has happened to them. I can't stop looking around me at every little thing that they have to repurchase all over again, (fingernail clippers, socks, underwear, shoes, pants, wallet, ect... the list is endless!!!)
Let me tell you a little about my Daddy who is actually my stepdad. He met my Mom when she was 6 months deep in her divorce process. He rented a room in her basement. He also stepped up and help raise us 3 kids she came with. He has always treated us like his own kids and this is why I call him Daddy. He worked harder to support the family. He was the one there to take me to my father-daughter dance. He was there to interview every guy who wanted to date me. He did the Daddy things a dad is supposed to do.
Now, my Mom.... everyone who meets her loves her! She is a walking Angel. She would give her own shirt off her back for anyone in need. My mom always puts others in front of her. When this happened to her, my mom didn't want me to come out because she wanted me to study for my Anatomy Physiology Mid-term. Again, she is always thinking of others!!!
I just want these amazing people to see they aren't the only good people left in this world. I want them to be blessed, loved and have their karma returned to them.
Thank you for your time, good thoughts, prayers and wishes. God bless.
