Grandpa Jose, Mejia Family Emergency fund

My name is Jaasiel, Jose Mejia's granddaughter and we are from Brawley, California in Imperial County. A week ago my grandfather was assaulted by a man who was under the influence of illicit drug use which left him with serious injuries on his left arm, knees, a mild head concussion from a hard hit on the pavement, and other bruises that we do not want to share on the internet. My grandfather likes to gather recyclables around Brawley and take them to the recycling center. Due to this incident, his car was crashed and is not operational. He's not able to do this anymore and earn money for his family anymore as well. He's very hardworking and has always done anything possible to earn his money honorably, as he is retired from working in the fields for the majority of his time in the U.S. He quickly picked up anything that might allow him to provide more for his family despite his health circumstances. The car that was crashed needs repairs so that he may also assist in all his doctor appointments that at times take place in San Diego, and to transport himself and my grandmother run errands which would take a couple thousand to repair and his medical bills took a toll on his stress. We would appreciate any donations made by you or the simple action of sharing would be cherished. Since his health is now worsened through this traumatic event the donations would have to be made over the next couple months to recuperate everything that he has lost as well as keep moving on with his life.
