Grandmothers Homegoing

Hello, 

My Grandmothers name is Curline Kelly she was born 9/9/1934 in Coldsprings, Tx and she passed on November 6, 2020 in her home in Houston, Tx.
My Grandmother had a passion for cooking and baking she would cook for anyone who was hungry or in need of a hot meal. She cooked almost everyday even if it was no one coming to eat you could always stop by, and she would make you feel like family didnt matter if you were the Pastor of a church or someone down on your luck walking up and down the street Its one of the things I loved most about her. Around 2017 my Grandmother has a series of strokes that left her without the ability to get around or remember things for that matter. In this time her term life insurance expired because she outlived her term, and had to get last chance insurance for people with long term disabilities such as strokes. So while her insurance was able to cover some Funeral expenses it wasn't enough to cover the services such as buying a casket, Police escorts to Coldsprings, Tx, and the funeral services provided by the Funeral Home(Oscar Johnson Mortuary). The Funeral service will be at Greater True Vine Missionary Baptist Church on Friday November 20th and the Burial on Saturday at 10am in Coldsprings. We appreciate all donations as they will be going towards sending Curline Kelly home to her final resting place.
