Hello everyone, I'm Alexandrea Reed, Sherry Hubbartt's granddaughter. For everyone that knows us, knows that grandma raised me, and she was my whole world for as long as I can remember. We're the closest people each other had, we had an unbreakable bond unlike any other. Not only was she my grandmother, but she was also my mother and father combined all into one person. Loosing her is the most traumatic experience of my entire life. No one will ever be able to replace her, I care and miss for her so very deeply. I have so many wonderful memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life, and I will talk about her with her soon to come in August great grandson, Hank. It's a shame he will never get to meet her, but she will be in Heaven looking and watching over us here, she will be our guardian angel

If you ever met grandma, she would be someone you'd never forget. She always wanted to give a hug, and you could hear her from across the parking lot when she got excited to see someone. She knew how to light up the entire room within seconds of being in it. With everything she did in her lifetime, she did whole heartedly, and she did for others in her community, she was the most selfless person I've ever met. Her heart was as big as the world we live in. She was never one to ask for help, she always figured out how to try to do it on her own, she was very independent and stubborn like that, which is probably why I have so many characteristics of her in that way. She also never held back when giving her opinion. She was very strong willed and she wasn't ever going to let that change, and that's one thing I will Never forget about her. She had a heart of pure gold, and she'd help anyone she could, no matter what. She was very well known in our community, she had so many loving friends that have become like family members to us over the years. I am so thankful to have them in our life, as I know she loved each and every one of them as if they were family. Anyone following this story knows it and for those who don't I will breif it up, around 2 pm Friday April 16th 2021 my worthless brother and friend entered grandma's home and killed her and hid her very well in the house, when I arrived Saturday to help her with some chores I knew something was wrong right away when I noticed her car was gone and her morning pills had not been taken, we filed a missing person report and the sheriffs office was very helpful and got right to work, we had a bad feeling about the whole thing and continued to push hard with our conviction and it payed off for us when Nevada highway patrol was able to locate her car and get the 2 suspects into custody early into the hours of Sunday morning, we then organized a search party to look for grandma and in the mean time Nevada was interrogating the 2 boys and they finally confessed, the search was called off after a full day and hundreds of man hours and Illinois state police csi showed up and searched the house and discovered grandma's body, and we had a little bit of closure knowing grandma didn't suffer out in the cold or all alone in the night, this whole weekend has been like a NBC murder show in real life and we are absolutely exhausted and devastated. Now to top all of this off we are faced with the hard reality of laying grandma to rest and this is very costly and we are trying to figure out how to cover this on top of the fact that we will be missing work and pay, along with paying extra bills for a while. This is the most difficult time in my life and this last year has been challenging for all, if you could find it in your heart to help with donations or prayers it would be more appreciated then anyone could ever understand. We love everyone that has been of so much help and are so thankful for those that do and have helped in any way, from the very bottom of my heart thank everyone so much and have a blessed day.
