Grandma Lupe’s Cancer Treatment

Our Grandma Lupe has been battling cancer for five years; she was first diagnosed with colon cancer in 2013 and then liver cancer in 2014. After chemotherapy, Grandma was able to beat colon cancer, but since 2014 her battle with liver cancer has been ongoing.

 After receiving immune therapy earlier this year, the doctors determined the therapy was ineffective. Grandma started therapy with 8 tumors and the doctors determined that she now has 28 tumors in total. The cancer is very aggressive and our Grandma needs to start chemotherapy as soon as possible! Unfortunately, each treatment is going to cost my grandma $1,600. These three chemo treatments are my grandmas last hope for beating cancer for a fourth time. 

Grandma has always been the one to take care of all of us so now it’s our turn to help her in the time she needs it the most.
