Most of you already know, due to the mandated closure of most bars and restaurants around the city, Grand Army Bar has been forced to close indefinitely in order to flatten the curve of this potentially deadly disease.
This decision, though wise for public health, has had catastrophic effects on the financial situations of the community of workers that make up this one-of-a-kind industry.
Grand Army Bar is a place where people come together to share moments and experiences with each other over some of the best cocktails and snacks out there.
During this time of turmoil please, if you are able, help those folks that make those experiences special for you: our incredible staff. Though some of us can get unemployment benefits, we ask you to think of the many workers that make up this industry that are unable to get any government assistance due to their status, as well. And for those of us that can get some small unemployment benefits, it just isn't enough.
We humbly ask that you donate whatever you can to help support our staff during this prolonged closure, every dollar helps!
Donate anonymously, or leave you email address and name so we can say thank you for donating by sending you a voucher for a cocktail, on us, when we reopen.
Any donation, no matter how large or small, will make a huge impact on the lives of the people at Grand Army we love the most.
Thank you all so much for you support, and we look forward to making new moments with yall in the future.
