<div>I'm reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit to ask for help for my sweet dog, Gram. Gram is a 4-year-old mini dachshund—loyal, cuddly, and a little bit stubborn (as all the best ones are). Recently, he suffered a herniated disc in his back, a sadly common issue for dachshunds, and was at risk of permanent paralysis. Emergency surgery was his only chance at walking again and living a full, pain-free life.

<div>The good news: Gram made it through surgery and is on the road to recovery. The not-so-good news: the procedure cost over $11,000. To save him, I had to drain my savings and max out my credit cards. I would do it all again in a heartbeat, but now I’m facing a steep financial mountain—and I could really use your help.
