Graham Donahue medical expenses

Donation protected
Graham Donahue and his twin brother Grady were born at 25 weeks and 4 days.  Graham weighed just 1lb 13 oz when he was born.  Now 20 months later Graham faces a new set of challenges, he was diagnosed with stage 3 Neuroblastoma.  This is the 3rd most common cancer found in children under 5.  Graham's parents Shaun and Katie were devastated by the news.  Shaun was deployed on his 3rd tour overseas when the news came and had to be rushed back to be with his family.  Because of the cancer’s location (it is wrapped around three major arteries and blood vessels going to the right kidney) it cannot be removed with just surgery, and Graham has to start chemotherapy.  The Donahues have to travel over an hour away from their home in Prattville, Al to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, Al and stay for 3-5 days at a time while Graham receives treatment.  This will happen every 3 weeks for up to 8 treatments.  During the treatments Graham will endure several days in a row of being injected with chemicals that while killing the cancer will also do incredible damage to his young body.  The drugs are so bad the staff administer the drugs with gowns on to ensure they don’t come in contact with them and even have to use gloves to change his diapers.  During this time the Donahue’s still have 2 other children at home to see about and bills.  Just so you can learn a little about the Donahue’s, Shaun and Katie are lifelong resident of the Montgomery, Al area.  He works in IT at a local credit union, and is also a 10 year plus veteran with the Air Force reserves based at Maxwell AFB, Al.  He has deployed 3 times including a tour in Iraq.  Katie is a high school history teacher.  Along with the twins Shaun and Katie also have a 7 year old Gavin who’s in the first grade. Anything you can give to help this incredible family through this trying time would be greatly appreciated.
