Graduate Study Abroad in Italy

Before I start typing, I want to begin by thanking you for checking out my page. Your consideration and time means the absolute world to me.
As many of you know, I am currently studying to become a School Counselor/LPC at California University of Pennsylvania. I plan to graduate in the Spring of 2019. I was recently invited to partake in some class credits in Italy from May 21st-June 1st. I have never been one to ask for money, but this is an experience that I cannot easily pass up. The opportunity to become more culturally well-rounded while also learning more about a career that I'm so passionate about is too good to pass up. Also, this will count as credits that I need to graduate, which would save me time during my practicum and clinical field.
I attend school out of state, so my tuition is EXTREME. I have no problem taking out loans to cover it because I love what I'm studying. That aside, I don't have a savings anymore. I work as a GA within the Counselor Education Department, at a ceramic studio, and at a daycare. Even working over full time, I struggle.
This opportunity could help me to expand my career possibilities. I plan on eventually specializing in eating disorders or childhood trauma. Both of these topics are near and dear to my heart. Any extra experience will only enable me to perform better for my clients and students in the future.
I owe 500 dollars in downpayment by Friday. Luckily, I can scrape that together from my rollover loan money. I owe another thousand by the end of the month. The rest of the money is due in full by May 1st, 2018.
If any extra money (or this is more than what is needed) is donated, I will donate it to the local non profits and/or animal shelters in Morgantown. If for some reason I cannot attend or I've waited too long or cannot attend, all donors will be refunded through gofundme.com. It’s still early in the process for me, but also last minute.
Again, thank you for even taking the time to read this. I am incredibly nervous to take a step and post something like this, as I know there are people out there who really need financial help. I just cannot let it go without at least trying.
