Gracies trip to Boston

Gracie was nominated this year by her advanced English teacher this year to attend the national youth leadership forum: explore STEM. She was chosen based on her academic potential as well as interest in the area of science, technology, engineering and math. In attending this program she will work with professionals in each of these fields as well as a group of her peers in planning a trip to mars and colonizing it!! They will work with state of the art technology and hear from former astronauts who will attend and speak. This is such an amazing opportunity for Gracie. Her goal is to someday become an engineer herself in the medical field. Although there are several places to attend this program around the country, Gracie has chosen to stay close to home and attend the program in Boston mass. (It costs slightly less and is not too far away from Mom) She makes me so very proud everyday. She just made high honor roll with an average of over 95 for the second semester and she strives everyday to learn new things. Her passion to explore new things amazes me. She is very excited to have this opportunity. The program tuition and travel will be expensive. We have had people reach out and ask how to help already. The tuition for the program is 2,295.00 and travel if booked ASAP is around 3-500. We appreciate even the smallest donation to help Gracie reach her goal and attend this program!
