Gracia Entrepreneur Training

I'll be working as an interpreter for the Gracia Entrepreneur Training (GET) program in Jalapa, Guatemala for two weeks this November.  The mission of Gracia, Inc.  is to empower young women by providing training, tools, and skills that will help to make future economic opportunities possible. Specifically, women in the Gracia program are learning to run a business based on creating and selling unique, fine jewelry.  The GET program's objective is to accomplish the goal of teaching economic empowerment through a structured curriculum based on business principles, profitability, logistics, and other aspects of small business ownership.  
Joining the Gracia team as an interpreter means the world to me!  As many of you know, I previously joined this group in May 2014.  During this trip, I had the opportunity to see and hear the positive effect of economic empowerment when Gracia's first employee opened her very first bank account at age 21. Imagine witnessing such a step (and, one that many of us in the US would consider fairly mundane) towards financial self-sufficiency!  As an interpreter this November, I hope to once again be a small part of the program of economic empowerment that Gracia seeks to provide.  I hope you will consider a donation of any amount.  

The purpose of these funds is to cover my flight, lodging, food, transportation within Guatemala, and to provide a monetary donation to Casa Hogar, the home where these young women live.  My goal is to raise these funds by October 1, 2016.  I would so, so appreciate any donation amount you are able to contribute.
