GraceNeedsAKidney Cause

Grace Anifowose is a lively young Christian woman. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with Stage 5 kidney disease also known as End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) May 2017. She is 27 years old, lives in Boston MA, and receives her medical care at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). She is in end-stage kidney failure, and currently going through dialysis and seeking living donors to save her life! Please visit the GraceNeedsAKidney facebook page to view more about her story.

As you might imagine since May when Grace found out about this diagnosis, her life has definitely changed financially, lots of hospital visits which has led to lots of medical bills and lost wages since she's had to miss substantial time at work over the past 8 months. She started dialysis in January 2018, that's 4 times a week and 5 hours per session so that's also led to missing work/lost wages. Unfortunately, the cost of dialysis alone is over $500 a week(after her insurance), not including the other medical costs associated her health management. This fundraiser is to help her with the expenses she's incurring as she goes through treatment.
