Grace's Leukemia Fight

Donation protected
On May 7th, Grace went to the eye doctor for blurry and decreased vision, during this time they found internal bleeding and recommended going to the emergency room.  She immediately went to the hospital and after blood work was admitted to the ICU.  On May 12th, after tests and a bone marrow biopsy, she was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia.   Due to COVID-19, Grace was not allowed any visitors, so received her diagnoses and chemotherapy treatments alone.  After about 40 days, Grace was discharged from the hospital as she was stable enough to fight her cancer battle from home as an outpatient.

Grace’s journey ahead will contain many doctor appointments, specialists and treatments.  Grace never imagined she would be fighting a cancer battle but she is forging ahead and is determined to fight.  Grace will not be able to work as a dance teacher during this time as she is immune compromised and can not risk illness.  However, Grace still has hospital bills, medication costs and many other needs arising.  I am Grace’s older sister and am hoping for a team of friends and family to stand around her and support her on her journey to recovery.
Please join us in surrounding Grace with love and support as she battles blood cancer.  In this family, no one fights alone.

With love,

Brittany and family
