Help For My Family

Friends and family near or far,

I am coming to you all in hopes that you can help me and my family- we have officially run out of all other resources. I've reached out to as many as I could for assistance of any sort and am left on bended knee. I've never been good at asking for personal assistance, but I have always had a knack with my words. This past year has knocked us down too many times to count. Through it all we have kept pushing. We have been staying with my mother just about this whole time, living in unimaginable conditions with a family of four plus our two furry children (cat and dog) through the ups and downs we have made it work. My son Joseph's school Sullivan West District has been a major crutch for us during these hard times helping us with extra food baskets, gas cards, Christmas gifts and specially bussing Joseph since we are on the outskirts of the district- to keep from pulling him. Due to circumstances out of our control we again find ourselves about to be on the streets this time quite literally. The 2 homes we were looking at back in Jeffersonville will not be ready to move into until some time later in November. Jeffersonville and the surrounding areas have the best rent rates and accept pets- this is where we can afford to live. We spent our entire day at Sullivan County's Department of Social Services to see what they can do to help. This was not an avenue I wanted to go down and as I anticipated it's not looking good for us. The offer they provided was a rundown motel room in Monticello where we cannot bring our pets. It's very strict when you go through DSS for this type of support- I know with my stress and anxieties I won't be able to lay my head down at night because I will be sick with worry. We can get kicked out at anytime going through this process. The icing on the cake? We cannot bring my cat or dog. For those who don't know my animals are my emotional therapy, within the last year I have been officially diagnosed with Bi Polar disorder, anxiety and Clinical depression. I have never been one to expect or beg for handouts. But to everyone our story has reached, I've been told to make a 'fund me' page. This is my last resort to keep us all together the four of us plus the cat and dog. We need help. We need a home ASAP we have some money aside but not enough to move into a place outside of SWSD with rent and security as of right now in the immediate future. The last time I had to beg for money or assistance was for Team Skate fundraisers!!! Now I'm humbly asking for any and all help. We are doing everything and anything we can to keep us all together as a unit and not have to go our separate ways. If I didn't need help I wouldn't be asking for it- but this is where we are. I've seen people make these pages for the silliest of reasons and ACTUALLY succeed, I'm not asking for a pair of boobs, a car, help with some ridiculous cost of no importance etc., I am asking if you have anything to contribute please know I will forever be grateful and indebted to you. Once we are back on our feet I will personally repay you in any way, shape or form that I can. My family and I need your love, prayers and support. I thank you in advance for your help and for just hearing out our story. Should you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to me on Facebook messenger @Alexa Gabrielle Rodriguez.

All my love,
