Hi my name is Leticia... After having to take a leave of absence off of work due to my mental health disability from, PTSD, anxiety, and depression I was recently blessed with a housing choice voucher for two years. After submitting multiple “applications and paying application fees, i have been denied on ALL them. All because of a wrongful eviction that is hanging over my head. AND If things couldn't get any worse I just got word from my case manager Saying that HUD will be losing their funding at the end of this year and so they do not want to place me in an apartment now so have to start back at square one. At This moment my apartment search Is on hold until further notice. I’m starting to lose hope and a new fear has entered me as we are supposed to be receiving a foot of snow in two days. Although I do have a vehicle for shelter my heater recently went out so staying warm is going to be a struggle for me my husband, my dog cash and n I. At this point I simply don’t know what else to do other than to ask my community for for help and support into getting me back into a safe and stable living environment. God bless you and thank you.

UPDATE: On March 13, 2024 the day of the winter storm (literally day after my interview with Fox31 news) my vehicle (my home) 2012 NISSAN ROUGE w/ everything i own and my dog CASH was stolen from 84th and Clay. It was stolen by a female who I was helping move. I was picking up my medication and was only inside for no more 3 min. CASH is not just my pet...he is my emotional support dog. The last 2 days have been the worst. It's like I want to wake up from this nightmare. Please if anyone has seen my vehicle or my dog CASH please reach out. I dont have any soical media but just wanted to spread the word. Ty and God Bless.
