Cheyenne's Mission trip in Guatemala

Hello!
My name is Cheyenne. I have been given the opportunity to serve on a short-term mission trip in Guatemala. The foundation I will be working with is called “Tree 4 Hope”. I encourage you to check out this amazing ministry on the web at www.Tree4Hope.org & also their Facebook page. During my time there I will be helping at Hogar MIguel Magone (a small orphanage that also helps the village children living nearby) & also at Hope Academy (a new girls school which Tree 4 Hope has funded & built – the opening day is Jan. 8 of this year!). I also have an opportunity to go to an Elder Center to help for a day.
The cost of this trip will be approximately $1800. This will cover all transportation, food, and lodging while in Guatemala & also my flight costs. I am responsible for raising 100% of my trip! If we raise more then $1800 we will be able to buy and take physical donations to the orphanages that we will be working with. Such as medicine, clothing, books, etc.
The purpose of this trip **** We will be serving the needs of the poor in many different capacities during our time with the people of Guatemala. I will be helping at the orphanage, the elder center, assisting with cleaning, physical labor, building, connecting with the children, etc. I've always had this deep desire, a calling to help others. If you know me you know how big my heart is. I know I may not be able to change the world. But I believe the smallest acts of kindness and love can have a true effect in someone's life. No matter how small. Please help me achieve my life long desire to serve on a mission trip and make a difference!
I am also in the Big Brother Big Sister program and will be taking my little sister Justice with me! I'm truly blessed to have a little sister and honored to share this experience with her.
