Gorey to Gorey Cycle Challenge

Donation protected
We are back on track now after the chain came off with Covid-19 delaying original plans. The plan now is to leave Gorey and take a tour of the South East through Enniscorthy, Wexford, New Ross, Kilkenny, Tullow and then back to Gorey. 220km of road to tackle on the 22nd of August in aid of Special Olympics Gorey Area and Gorey Rugby Club.

The Special Olympics Club Gorey Area offers an invaluable avenue for fun, friendship, team spirit and improved quality of life in our community. It has such a positive impact on all those involved and gives opportunity to achieve not only in sport but in life too. The money raised will hopefully be able to play a small part in supporting their goals.

Gorey Rugby Club is in the process of raising funds for the upgrade and expansion of changing room facilities. Currently the club has 500 members in our community and there has been an increase in the number playing members, particularly ladies, in recent times. At the moment there are only temporary changing facilities for some of our teams. The money raised will help in the building of permanent changing/shower facilities for all club members.

All money raised raised will be split evenly between the two clubs
