Rally to support Gordy Baker

Our good friend Gordy Baker, St. Edmond Class of 1982, has fallen on hard times due to health issues.  He lives in the Twin Cities and is the single father of two young children.  Gordy has been a hard working licensed plumber in Minnesota for close to 30 years.

However,  in the last year, he's been unable to work on a consistent basis due to surgeries (hernia and shoulder),  diminished kidney function, painful kidney stones, and chronic Achilles Tendinitis – all which cause unremitting pain and weakness. He is scheduled for another kidney stone extraction surgery April 2.

SEHS friends in the Minneapolis area are looking after Gordy by taking him to and from the ER, doctor appointments and physical therapy sessions, grocery shopping for him, helping with his kids, and keeping him company during this time.

Because Gordy has been unable to work consistently, he’s fallen behind on his medical and misc. bills. His friends and family have helped him financially but the out of-pockets costs for his medical procedures are adding up quickly and Gordy needs help.

If you can help Gordy by making a donation, it would be greatly appreciated and help him get back on his feet. Thank you!
