Gordy & Cheri Support Fund

Gordy, our Rush Lake friend, after over a week in the hospital and months of medical tests was just diagnosed with  Wilson's Disease. This is a rare genetic disease that has destroyed his liver. Today, he was tested to make sure his body could withstand surgery for a liver transplant. Without the transplant he has only a 25% chance of surviving the next 90 days.  

Gordy has been out of work over a month as he hasn't been feeling well. Cheri & Gordy's Rush Lake friends are starting this GoFundMe to help raise money to cover, at this time, some of their living expenses like their mortgage and car payments, so Cheri can concentrate on supporting Gordy without the financial worries of losing the Gordy's income. 

At this time, the medical expenses have not been processed. Right now, we just want Gordy to be able to get a new liver so he can continue his life at the lake. Your donation will help them get through this difficult time without additional stress of financial burdens.
