Gordon Kuba Chemotherapy Fund - Hodgkin's Lymphoma <div>Just days before Thanksgiving 2023 a cherished member of our New Jersey music community, 30-year old drummer Gordon Kuba, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a cancer of the immune system. Gordon is an established drummer and private teacher in the North Jersey area, and performs with a variety of acts from all over as a highly-coveted live and session drummer. Surviving the pandemic was hard enough for any working musician, but Gordon, for those of you who may recall, suffered from complications after contracting mono during the earlier days of the covid-19 lockdowns. There is a known and established link in people who contract mono and later develop Hodgkin's lymphoma, though we have no way to know if this Gordon's case. Regardless, Gordon is now being dealt a triple-whammy and under the doctor's orders will undergo 6 months of chemotherapy. </div><div><br></div><div>We are fundraising the bare minimum to ensure that Gordon does not get evicted from his current housing in the event his treatment begins to interfere with his gig, and teaching schedule. There will be deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance and other out-of-pocket costs Gordon will have to front, and we hope this fundraiser will alleviate that burden for him.</div><div><br></div><div>We hope and pray for Gordon's health, but we do not wish to take anything for granted, and any amount donated to this fund will be greatly appreciated and will directly support Gordon on the most fundamental level at this time.
