Gordon Kent's piano comes to ASC!

Our beloved friend, community member and musician extraordinaire, Gordon Kent, has fallen on some challenging financial times, which require him to downsize and consolidate his recording studio and equipment into his living quarters. Space is at a premium, and Gordon has realized that he will need to sell his beloved Boston (Steinway family) grand piano in order to keep a functional studio space in his apartment. Those who knew Gordon's late wife, Janice, know that this piano meant a great deal to both of them.

We are hoping to help keep Gordon's piano "in the family" by raising funds to purchase this beautiful instrument from him for use at All Souls, likely replacing the Pierce Hall piano with the current sanctuary piano and moving Gordon's grand into the sanctuary. This will provide Gordon with the financial support he needs to maintain his apartment and get back on his feet.
