Gordon Davis' Eagle Project

My brothers and I grew up playing baseball at Maltby Community Park, and have a lot of fond memories from time spent there.  Unfortunately, over the years, the batting cage has fallen into disrepair, with little left but bent poles and inadequate gravel as a base.  As a Boy Scout, and for my Eagle project, I will not only rebuild, but improve the batting cage in order to give back to the community and to the park where many long hours were spent throughout my childhood. 

In order to make this batting cage functional once more, for the many youth that will play there for years to come, the funds raised will be used to purchase the required materials such as, netting, poles, turf, concrete, wood, and gravel. 

Since the required materials are ready to purchase, immediate donations will be helpful to allow completion of this project in the next couple of weeks before the weather turns rainy.

Not only will this project be appreciated by the many young baseball players in our community, but I am sincerely grateful for the help in achieving my Eagle rank.  Any donation, regardless of size is greatly appreciated.
