Hi I'm Michael I'm from San Diego , and  my chef's brother Joel was first diagnosed with melanoma about nine years ago. After skin was surgically removed, he was cancer free. He is now only 44 years old.

About a month ago, he was diagnosed with stage 4 spine melanoma. He will start a clinical trial of immunotherapy in two weeks.

Joel is a single dad with 3 amazing kids. The oldest is 24 and works with special education students, the second is 21 and going to school to be a veterinarian , the youngest is 17 and is a senior in high school. They live on a ranch with horses, pigs, peacocks, and other animals they care for. Joel has his own construction business and has been unable to work for months due to the melanoma. As a result, there is some urgency in getting funds. The funds will help with bills, rent, food, and medical bills. This will help relieve the stress on Joel, allowing him and his family to focus on his health and recovery.
