The Good Samaritans Medical Mission

Donation protected
The Good Samaritans and Class 68 is a group of classmates, friends, and townmates from the town of Malasiqui, Pangasinan, Philippines. Some of us were classmates from elementary school or high school. We went our separate ways when we went to various high schools, colleges, and universities. We then pursued our own careers. Some of us got married and raised our families. Some went abroad to seek their fortunes.

Through those periods of separation we remained friends. Camaraderie was always there. Every time we met the bonds between us got refreshed and stayed strong. For some of us our children became friends. In the 1980s we talked about giving back to our town and eventually we put up a foundation.

Our primary goal is to share our blessings with our classmates and townmates. Through the foundation we were able to grant full scholarships to three college students. All of them completed their bachelor's degrees --- Nursing, Education, and Chemical Engineering. Another scholar enjoyed our support all the way from elementary school to high school.

We also started doing medical and dental missions. So far we have served seven barangays (barrio or village)
of Malasiqui. We successfully completed our most recent mission in January 2017, bringing assistance to two of the poorest barangays in Malasiqui. See below pictures of the January 2017 mission.

We plan to undertake the next medical and dental mission in January 2018. This time we want to help our eight barangay, Bgy. Bacundao of Malasiqui, one of the remote and poor villages of our town. The theme of The Good Samaritans and Class 68 Project for 2018 is GIFT GIVING.

The 2018 program includes:

- the medical and dental mission

- gift giving to the children
        - school supplies
